01 about

With a successful Architectural career spanning more than two decades, Dante Sandoli, AIA, NCARB has built a reputation creating purposeful and meaningful spaces. While working within the project's parameters, alongside the client's wants and needs, Dante's innate ability is to team together with the client, consultants, contractors, and vendors to articulate the conceptual vision into a reality, reflecting the aesthetic and spatial intent.
Beginning in Philadelphia, PA, Dante earned his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Drexel University's 2+4 Program, a highly selective program that admits a small class of twenty-four students per academic year. In 2013, after spending 15 years practicing Architecture in Philadelphia, he made the move to New York City to continue his passion for the built environment. While in New York, Dante earned his Master of Arts in Sustainable Interior Environments from SUNY - FIT, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Dante's diversified portfolio of work includes Custom Residential, Academics (K-12 and Higher Education), Cultural Institutions, Workplace Interiors, and Retail. He is a licensed Architect in the State of New York, a member of the AIA, and is NCARB certified.
03 the process
The architectural design process is not a one-size-fits-all scenario. The process includes, but is not limited to, the site context, existing conditions to remain, existing conditions to be removed, advancements in building technologies, the evolution of materials, zoning requirements, and a thorough understanding of building codes & regulations. This process is weaved together through each phase, all while prioritizing the client's wants and needs, balancing what is important for a successfully executed design. The project's schedule, material lead times, and construction budget are continuously being monitored and communicated to all parties at each design phase.
To aid the design process, Dante Sandoli's skillset includes the use of various project management platforms, Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Revit, collaborative AEC software including Bluebeam Revu, digital rendering software for still views or 3D walkthroughs, and hand sketches to quickly convey ideas at a moment's notice.
This thought process carries beyond the design phases. Dante uses these tools and skillsets as a way of effectively communicating the design during construction, all the way through close-out.
